The Lifesprk Open House is a welcoming place where neighbors can come together (outside and at a safe distance) to learn, share, and connect during difficult times and beyond. Created by Lifesprk with the support of our partners, this tiny house-on-wheels reflects the spirit of giving and receiving that is so vital to the health and wellbeing of our communities.

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Lifesprk Open House rigorously follows the recommended guidance from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC). Our volunteers wear masks, stay six feet apart from visitors, and sanitize all high-touch surfaces. We also offer personal protection equipment (PPE) to all visitors.

Although the Open House has come to the end of its official 2020 season, our hyperlocal mobile initiative isn't going away. We're getting ready for spring so the Open House can get back on the road and into your community as soon as the snow melts!

There’s something for everyone at the Open House. Maybe you’re concerned about a senior who is feeling isolated; maybe you’re looking for grocery delivery, transportation, or childcare services; maybe you’d like to ask a medical expert a question about Covid-19 or maybe you just want to connect with people in your community. We can help you with all of these—and more!

  • Community pantry for those in need
  • Drop-off site for donated goods
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Virtual chats with medical experts
  • Information on COVID-19 and other health topics
  • Tips to help seniors age magnificently
  • Access to local resources and services

The Open House visited communities across the Twin Cities all summer and fall, introducing us to amazing people at every stop—we can’t wait to get back on the road as soon as the weather permits! Soon we’ll begin scheduling dates and locations for spring and summer, so check back, or better yet, schedule an Open House in your neighborhood!
